Job Scope:
We are seeking a Senior SAP Customer Service / IS-U Developer with 15+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale SAP implementations in the utilities sector, including work with Singapore and regional regulators.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on SAP Customer Service / IS-U development expertise, excellent techno-functional understanding, and a proven track record in complex, multi-year transformation programmes (e.g. S/4HANA, market liberalisation, regulatory-driven change).
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Customer Service & IS-U Development
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP IS-U / Customer Service solutions across:
- Customer Master & Business Partner
- Contract & account management
- Service orders, move-in / move-out
- Billing, invoicing, and customer interactions
Large-Scale Transformation Delivery
- Contribute to complex SAP transformation programmes, including:
- ECC to S/4HANA
- Utilities market restructuring / liberalisation
- Regulatory-mandated system changes
Integration & Ecosystem
- Develop and support integrations with:
- MDM / MDMS
- IDEX / MPM / market messaging platforms
- CRM, contact centre, and external market systems
Regulatory & Utilities Domain Expertise
- Ensure solutions comply with utilities regulatory frameworks, including:
- Singapore and regional market rules
- Retail competition, settlement, and metering processes
Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership
- Work closely with:
- Business users
- Architects and functional consultants
- System integrators and vendors
Job Qualifications:
Core Experience
- 15+ years of SAP development experience with expertise in SAP IS-U / SAP Customer Service
- Extensive experience in utilities (electricity, gas, water) environments
- Proven delivery in large-scale, complex SAP transformation projects
Technical Skills
- ABAP / ABAP OO
- BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs, Web Services
- Enhancements, BADIs, user exits
- SAP integration patterns (PI/PO, CPI)
- S/4HANA exposure
Domain & Regulatory Knowledge
- Deep understanding of utilities customer lifecycle
- Experience working with:
- Singapore utilities
- Regional utilities
- Regulatory bodies / market operators
